“I lift up my eyes to the hills- where does my help come from? My help comes from The Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.” (Ps. 121: 1-2 NIV)
On those evenings when the sun’s rays penetrate the clouds in the western sky and bathe the peaks below as in this photo taken yesterday, inevitably the Holy Spirit calls this verse to my mind.
How blessed I am to be able to gaze upon these mountains from the comfort of my deck, ponder such verses during my quiet time, and be assured that no matter what trials, circumstances, or temptations should come my way that day, I don’t have to face those challenges alone. I have an omnipresent Helper who is perfect in his love, infinite in his wisdom, and sovereign in his control and who tells me in His Word to ….
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10 ESV)
I am going to read all of your posts . From the headings I am already so much interested n in love to read them. They are definitely so worth reading for them who are thirsty for God’s word n love deep meditation on His word ..
